Visiting the Texas Capital building was truly amazing.  Sadly I do not have the glass to properly capture the grandeur of the space.  The historical perspective was undeniable.

The physical plant folks drained the main fountain on campus.  It looked so old and forgotten without the water.  Cannot wait for them to fill it back up.

Neat-o columns in Philly!

Walking off dinner in Philly is hardly relaxing when it was so terribly cold.

Waiting for my son to wrap up his piano lesson, I took a seat outside of the school. With the nics and scratches, the seat reflects how uncomfortable it is.

Yet another image from my daily walks on the quaint little campus of SU. There is this fountain next to the library that shoots three very powerful streams of water high into the air. In the wake of such turbulence, fallen leaves gently ride the waves. The motion of the leaves induces the strong desire to lay at the edge of the fountain and allow the sounds of the falling water take you into a blissful state of deep relaxation. Must resist, this is only lunch. I must return to work!

Learning to get away from my office and walking, I went to the student center and really fell in love with the lines inside the building.  Here is what I saw.

One thing Austin does not have is a transit system.  San Francisco has a great one.
